About Life Church

Our Story

Life Church Arbroath (LCA) is part of an International network of churches with centres in North America, South America, Europe, and with affiliates in other continents. Pastors Gary and Kim Carter started this work back in 1996 at the Word of Life Centre in Drayton Valley, Canada. They came to Scotland, by God’s leading, to start LCA in 2010.

Under the leadership of Pastors Martins and Mercedes, Life Church Arbroath has been establishing a vibrant body of believers who are spreading the love of God within Arbroath and beyond.

While we are a local church working and trusting God for the transformation of our city, county and nation, we are a very globally focused team. Our ministry and support work extend beyond continental Europe to other regions of the world.

Whenever you are in and around Scotland, why not pay us a visit as our doors are open to receive you. Otherwise, you may join our regular broadcast through our Facebook page as well as on the resource page of this website.

We Learn, We Lead, We Build

At Life Church Arbroath, we believe that everyone has a unique calling and place within the body of Christ. We are, therefore, constantly learning, receiving and offering leadership for furnishing every man, woman and child with the aim of allowing Christ to build His body into the complete bride we are meant to be.

To enable us become the functional body Christ desires, our vision is to lead mankind in preparation for the coming kingdom of God. Our mission is to give every person the opportunity to know Christ, who is the way to that kingdom. Our passion is loving God and loving people - the very foundation of that kingdom. We hope that we can help you grow into your calling and, together, we can build that kingdom of God.
